Challenge yourself on a rewarding full-pack trek through rugged wilderness and experience the breathtaking beauty of the Grose Valley. Beginning at Evans Lookout, you'll descend through spectacular sandstone escarpments, lush forests, and scenic valley trails, carrying everything you need for an authentic overnight adventure. Along the way, you'll build confidence, resilience, and a sense of achievement while immersing yourself in one of the Blue Mountains' most iconic wilderness areas.
Your journey leads to the renowned Acacia Flat Campground, nestled amongst towering blue gums deep within the valley. Spend the evening relaxing in nature, sharing stories around camp, and enjoying the tranquillity of this remote wilderness setting before waking to the sounds of birdsong and fresh mountain air. To make your adventure even more enjoyable, Friday night's accommodation in Blackheath is included, allowing you to arrive refreshed and ready for an unforgettable weekend of hiking, connection, and exploration.

Meeting Time: Friday, November 27, 2026 from 4 pm
*Due to the early start, we have organised and included Friday night’s accommodation based on twin share. Limited Single Supplements are available for an additional $70.
Meeting Location: Blackheath Motor Inn, 281 Great Western Hwy, Blackheath. ( On Saturday, we will carpool to the start of the hike at Evan Lookout at 7 am)
Maximum number: 12
Difficulty: Challenging. Two days of hiking on challenging terrain, with a full pack- some rock scrambling with some exposure to heights. You need good balance and to be comfortable on uneven terrain.
Fitness Requirements: High level of fitness, good general health.

Hiking pack (60-70L capacity).

Personal Snacks- tea/ coffee/powered milk We want to strongly discourage any treats for the whole group- (including alcohol) your food should be just for you (and possibly organised with one other,) keep your pack as light as possible.
