DETAILS

  • Cost: $219 (early Bird Special $199 to Feb 19)

  • Meeting Time:  Sunday, April 19, at 7.00 am

  • Meeting Location: Lake Parramatta Car Park/Cafe- end of Illawong Drive, North Parramatta

  • Maximum number: 15

  • Difficulty:  Moderate/Challenging – the track is a mix of bush trail hiking, some creek crossings and road walking included. You need good balance and to be comfortable on uneven terrain

  • Fitness Requirements: Good level of fitness, good general health.

  • Finish Time: Approx. 5.30 pm

  • Picnic lunch and morning tea/snacks – relax and enjoy a healthy, nutritious lunch

WHAT TO BRING 

  • Bring in a small backpack (please allow space for a 20cm x 15cm lunch box provided): 

  • 2-3 litres of drinking water (including electrolytes) 

  • Thermos of hot water (for your tea/coffee), or ready-made and a mug

  • Rain Jacket and warm layers

  • Cap/Hat 

  • Headtorch - fully charged (mandatory) 

  • Sunscreen 

  • Personal Medications 

  • Tissues, wet wipes, and clip-lock bags (for toileting). Our leave no trace policy requires you take out all waste such as toilet paper and wet wipes. Coaches will carry a shovel and spare toilet paper. 

  • Poles (optional, but recommended)

  •  Boots highly recommended
